Search Documents
Click on highlighted Trevosan words or use the Search tab to find documents mentioning specific terms or family members.
Each search reveals the first three documents containing your search term.
Documents are archived chronologically from oldest to newest.
Decode the Language
Learn Trevosan words through context clues in documents.
Words indicate family relationships (leevoth=brother, talo=grandfather), royal titles (cyno=king, cynai=queen), and cultural terms.
Use the Notes tab to record your translations this is essential for solving the puzzle.
Build the Family Tree
Set each person's name and title in the family tree based on evidence from documents.
Once you correctly identify 3 people, they lock in place.

Trevosa Game FAQs
Most players complete Trevosa in 1-4 hours depending on their approach. Players who read all documents thoroughly and engage with the full lore typically spend 3-4 hours. Lore-skipping can reduce playtime to 45 minutes to 2 hours. The game features seven generations to uncover, so taking your time is rewarded.
According to the game's lore, 'solaam' refers to you, the player - a normal person who likes communicating with the tiny people of Trevosa. Ludir's message is addressed to the solaam seeking help. The biggest hint to understanding this term is in the Final Note document.
The true heir must be a direct descendant of Estin-Orvet (the first ruler) and also descended from Morfal (the youngest child previously in line). Additionally, the rules of succession require the heir to be married. Ludir cannot inherit because he lacks a spouse and hasn't completed the olesata (adult ceremony).
Olesata is the exam or ceremony one must pass to become an heir. According to the game's rules, an heir must have both royal descent and have passed this ceremony. We don't have confirmation that Ludir completed his olesata, which is another reason his claim is invalid.

The Archive's filter section helps search text you've already discovered. Bookmark important scrolls with colors by clicking the right side.
Yes! Trevosa includes non-binary characters. Nyreen is referred to as 'they/them' and uses the neutral title 'cyne' (ruler) instead of cyno (king) or cynai (queen). There is at least one other non-binary character mentioned in the family tree. The game uses gender-neutral terms for some relationships.
Trevosa saves progress to browser storage. However, Safari does not allow storage from embedded games. If you're using Safari, your progress may not be saved. Use Chrome, Firefox, or Edge for best results. Consider taking screenshots of your Notes tab as a backup.
The nyscet is described as a dreadful entity that lies in wait to destroy. It is referenced in Ludir's opening message as the reason the situation is dire. The nyscet represents a threat to Trevosa, and the people look to the solaam (you) for guidance on how to proceed.
